In 2000, she won the Youth Classic Pleasure Driving at the Congress, in 2001 and 2002 she placed Reserve in the Youth Classic Pleasure Driving at Congress. In 2002 she was won Classic Youth Halter Mare at Congress as well as the Classic Obstacle Driving in 2001 & 2002. Charlie has a wonderful head and a great dispostion. She was inducted into the Classic Halter Hall of Fame in 2003. In recent years we switched her to the Foundation Driving Division and she will return to the ring this year with my daughter Sammi. We have also bred her 3 times so far and each foal is even better then the last and they are burning up the ring!

Lady is a black classic foundation mare who was shown mostly by my son Cody. Lady is our pony who does it all. She was un-defeated in Area 8 in Classic Pleasure Driving in 2005. She Hall of Famed in classic halter in 2004 and classic pleasure driving in 2005. She won the Classic Pleasure Open under class at the 2005 Congress and was Reserve in the Stake class.

Lady is a full sister to Clyde and Sinsation and a 1/2 sister to Charlie. Lady was born at Barnaby Creek Ponies and she will die here. Over the last 7 years she has been Cody's partner and friend in and out of the arena. Together they have 6 Congress wins, 11 congress reserve's and an outstanding 32 top ten finishes. They have shown together in Halter, Showmanship, Pleasure Driving, Roadster, Halter Obstacle and Barrel Racing. They have shown against horses of all sizes at fairs and gone cross country on cattle drives. Lady gave us her first foal in 2009 and again Lady proved to us that she excells at all that she does. Currently Lady is enjoying being a semi-retired broodmare but she may return to the show ring in the future. We are looking forward to sharing a long long future with her.

ASPC# 145857A. Sinsation is a black classic mare that I bred and recently bought back. Sin has had success in the halter show ring and is a full sister to Clyde and Lady, and a 1/2 sister to Charlie and Pearl. We are pleased to have her back and happily looking forward to showing her foals in the future.

"Lil" Britches Lady Long Gone

ASPC# 154691A
(H.S. Blazers Destiny X "Lil" Britches Just Janet)

'Dixie' is a black classic mare that we bought from our favorite farm, "Lil" Britches Pony Farm in Bellingham Washington. She is wonderful in every way both as a broodmare and youth show pony. Dixie took 2009 off from the show pen to have her first foal and she did not let us down. We will continue to show Dixie over the next few years and then she will get to be a full time mom.

"Lil" Britches Mighty Martina

ASPC# 154692A
(H.S. Blazers Destiny X Rocket's Easy Lovin)

Tina is a Black Classic Mare that we purchased at the same time as Dixie. They are half sisters and my good friend Tom from "Lil" Britches Pony Farm brought them to the show back in 2006 and then conviently lead them over to my stalls 6 or 7 times over the weekend which had the desired result as they both loaded in my trailer on the way home....but hey! Many a great pony has come here the same way! She was the 2007 Reserve Congress Youth pleasure driving champion. She took the year off in 2009 to give us her first foal and is returning to the show ring this year.....watch for her and all her black pony friends at a show near you!

(Prairie Hill's Final Curtain X "Lil" Britches Tammi)

Big surprise.....we have a new addition all the way from....you guessed it, "Lil" Britches Pony Farm in Bellingham Washington. Due to the loss of my three Classic Broodmares (Fredia, Flash and Kim) over the past 18 months I was growing concerned about the black pony population so I called my local black pony source and found a gem. Janet is a black classic broodmare who has the kindest personality around. She took to me and her new home like she always knew someday it'd be her turn to come here. We look forward to many foals from Janet and we are so happy she is here!

ASPC #144931B

Lita is our Queen here at Barnaby Creek Ponies. She has shown me how much heart means in a show animal. Lolita has 3 National Grand Championships in ASPR Roadster Stake and 9 National Championships ASPC and ASPR Roadster Open, youth roadster and amateur roadster. She is in the ASPC Roadster Hall of Fame; the ASPR Roadster Hall of Fame and she was the 2005 ASPR Performance Pony of the Year. After much deliberation I have decided to retire Lita at the end of the 2010 show season. We will breed her this spring and let her stay home and have babies after this season. I truly believe that animals like Lita only come around once in a while and I doubt that I will ever enjoy showing any pony more then I do her. She came back to win all three of her titles after a massive leg injury and a year off and her constant need to please me has no end. She will always be my partner, my friend and I will always appreciate all that she has taught me in life......

PPS Make Mine Mink

ASPC#153863B
(John Doe X PPS Lady Sings the Blues)

Mink made a splash in the 2009 show arena. Shown most the year by Jason Prince from Excalibur Stables, Mink worked her way towards her halter hall of fame in modern pleasure halter. The highlight of the 09 season was the shetland congress where she was national champion in modern youth pleasure halter (with Cody Carlson) and Res. National Champion in the modern youth showmanship. She also placed in the top 10 in Modern formal pleasure youth, ladies and limit. We are very pleased with her and excitied to see what she and Cody do together in 2010.

MouseTrap

ASPC#142335B
(PPS MR. Laird X Knights Lady in Blue)

Mouse is our oldest modern mare who came from Larry Parnell to join our broodmares. She is the dam of my beloved modern stallion, Talking Tree's Cause for Applause (who died un-expectedly in 2008). Mouse has found her last home and we look forward to however many foals she cares to share with us.

RFP Finally The Right Time
ASPC#149682B
(Cres-or-lar's Prime Time X Z.J.'s Stop The Music)

Elle is a seal brown and white modern pinto mare that I co-own with Melissa Roberts. Elle was shown in the 3 year old Modern Pleasure Futurity. When Elle came to Washington in 2008 our intent was to return her to the show ring in the open division but after my set backs in 2008 we decided to delay her return to the ring. During this time Elle found her person in my daughter Sammi. Because of the strong bond that has developed between them, Melissa and I have decided to let Sammi show Elle as she makes her return to the ring....we are looking forward to many fun years with Elle and Sammi and can't wait to breed her in the future.
