Castle Rocks Simply A Baroness
AMHR
Foaled: 04/04/2008
Color: Black (will Roan) Filly with a Star
Sire: Kamelot’s Black Baron – 33.75"
Dam: Hidden Hollow Baylee – 34.00"
Simply A Baroness (“Nessie”) was born 1 full month after expected, and was a beautifully, mature little filly at birth. She stood 21” high, with a slightly less than 7” canon, which indicates she should mature within the 30-32” range.
Nessie is a blue roan, with a beautifully placed star, and a small muzzle. She has pretty ear set, beautiful doe eyes, and is a very active little girl, running and running her mother around in circles. Although both parents had appaloosa in their heritage, Nessie is not showing any appaloosa characteristics or spotting. She looks to be a solid blue roan.
"Baylee" is a true blue roan mare, whose sire is Artem Winston, a 31" English Import, dual registered in AMHA/AMHR, as well as being registered in England as a "Miniature" Shetland. All of Baylee's top side pedigree horses are "Miniature Shetlands" registered in England and other European countries. On the bottom, Baylee is Komokos breeding, going back to Komokos Wild Turk, a multiple National and Reserve National Champion Sire, and KOMOKOS KING TUT and KOMOKOS JENNIE, both FOUNDATION miniatures.
This foal's sire, "Baron" is a wonderful, young, sturdy stallion, with "the most beautiful" head. This young stallion is out of Kamelot's Irresistible (HOF), a Hall of Fame Grand Champion mare, out of another Hall of Fame Grand Champion mare—Kamelot’s Simply Grand (HOF), and French Broad's Half and Half, (HOF Get of Sire), going back to MUSTARDSEEDS LEGIONAIRES SEQUOYAH AND FLYING W FARMS LEGIONAIRE, on the bottom side, and Playmate's Black Jack, Stout's Little Chippewa and Stout's Freckled Feather on the top side.
This filly FOR SALE.
Castle Rocks I C Sweet Lil Faline

Foaled: 05/02/2008
Color: Bay with White Banket
Sire: Timberviews I C Spots - 31.00"
Dam: Timberviews Sweet Lil Bambi - 31.50"
This is one "long awaited for" girl. We are so happy the Filly Fairy and Spot Sprite found us on the same day! This pretty filly is so brightly colored, with BIG doe eyes, and such a pretty upright stance on those long beautiful legs! I can't wait to clip her and see how many more spots she's hiding under all that baby fuzz!!
Her mom, "Bambi," also has a wonderful color! Not just "color" but beautiful silver dapple APPALOOSA color! Her breeding is heavily Stout, going back to Stout Black Magic, Stouts Mona Lisa and Stouts Mister Pride a Foundation Stallion. She was sired by RJ Little Warrior.
This foal's outstanding sire is Timberviews I C Spots, a 31.00" Black Near Leopard Appaloosa. "Spots" goes back to Lengendary's Bullet. AS WE HAD HOPED, THIS BREEDING GAVE US SOME GREAT COLOR! We are very happy with this little girl!
This filly MAY be for sale to a show home, as she is exquisite and refined, and should do very well establishing herself as a winner! Can't wait to clip her and find out what she's hiding under that beautiful color. This filly will be for sale to a show home.

Foaled: 5/12/2008
Color: Sorrel with Appy Characteristics
Sire: Timberviews Simply Awesome - 31.50"
Dam: D.M. Sunny's Cinnamon - 34.00"
Cinnamon has just given us this most beautiful little girl, that looks so much like momma, but has appy characteristics. Her sire is a beautiful Leopard Appaloosa, Timberviews I C Spots. Actually, I don't see any spots yet, but they could be hiding under all the baby fuzz!! We are very pleased with the sweet refinement this filly is showing, with her Gold Melody Boy heritage.
This foal's dam, "Cinnamon" has wonderful bright red sorrel color and flaxen mane and tail, AND ELEGANCE. We would expect this with "5" crosses to GOLD MELODY BOY, one of the most recognizable and prepotent lines in Miniature horses today, carrying tremendous Arabian type, balance and elegance.
Her sire, Timberviews Simply Awesome, a 31.50” Black Leopard Appaloosa. “Awesome” is a full brother to our retired show mare, “Pokey” and we are pleased to see the quality, with the balance and elegance this little GMB bred filly carries.

Dam: Thousand Oaks Yashicas Bayberry – 29" (FBR)
This is a pretty little boy, wonderfully small, with great conformation, upheadedness, and attitude!!! He has a small, dished face, BIG eyes, and such a sweet boy. Don't know what color to call him yet, but he has striped hooves and other appaloosa traits, so we're very happy with him. GOOD JOB MOM!
This foal is coming from an extensive appaloosa pedigree on the bottom from “Bitsy,” a bay snowflake mare to the grand-dam, a bay roan snowflake appaloosa who goes back to FALKLAND OF KILVERSTONE, a Fallabella stallion and MENELEK (of Kilverstone) a foundation Falabella stallion on the top, and ROWDY on the bottom. Bitsy is 25% Falabella. Her sire is an AMHA National Reserve Champion Junior Stallion who is a blue roan appaloosa own son of Orion Light Vant Huttenest.
This foal's sire, "Ole'" is COLOR, COLOR, COLOR in a small (29" in August 2006), Araby pintaloosa body, having multiple Grand and National Grand Champions on both sides of his pedigree. Let this boy become your next "under 30" show horse, and then your next herd sire. His lines are exquisite, and he is all together a refined, beautiful boy! His father is a colorful pintaloosa and with some traits showing, we expect this boy to mature with some color!
He is for sale.
Castle Rocks Hez Awesome
AMHA / AMHR
Foaled: 5/22/2008
Color: Bay Leopard
Sire: Timberviews Simply Awesome - 31.50"
Dam: Sanders Bit O Honey - 33.00"THIS BOY IS AWESOME!!! Look at the color, and the up-headed stance! This is leopard at it's finest. He has the most wonderful personality, is already showing a bit of "the look" for the ring, and he is everything we could have hoped for. We cannot wait to clip him and see all of that wonderful color hidden by baby fuzz.
Awesome's dam, "Honey" has a wonderful history of producing color and she has done it again! Although a solid red silver bay, this girl has thrown appaloosa, every time she's been bred to an appaloosa stallion. Her breeding on the top side goes back to Dell Teras Bronco, a producer of National Grand Champions, and Double O Seven And A Half Moto, National Grand Champion Senior Stallion. On the bottom side, she is from Crescents Sidney, a producer of National Champions, Honor Roll, National Grand Champions and Martin's Southern Belle, a National Grand Champion producing mare.
Awesome's sire, "Timberviews Simply Awesome", is a 31.50" Black Leopard Appaloosa. "Timberview's Awesome" is a full brother to our retired show mare, "Pokey" so we knew we were breeding from quality, with the balance and elegance GMB lines carry.

Castle Rocks Promise of Greatness
AMHA / AMHR
Foaled 6/29/08
Color: Sooty Buckskin Blanketed Appaloosa with Bright Blue Eyes
Sire: Sweetwater's Texas Spotty - 33.75"
Dam: Sulphuras Apache Promise - 34"Promise's foal is here!!!! And we couldn't be happier!!! (unless it was a filly to keep). This beautiful, upright boy is the product of a brown buckskin snowcap appaloosa mare carrying the dilute gene, and a buckskin leopard appaloosa stallion. And look at the color on his rump!! WOW! That "snow" and those big, bright blue eyes are just icing on the "spotty cake!" We're enjoying every moment of him!!
This colt's father is Sweetwater's Texas Spotty, a buckskin leopard appaloosa stallion of Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy and Komokos lines, and Spotty didn't let us down again! He reproduced his legs, clean throatlatch, trim body, and refined legginess on this future show foal. Now if we can only decide what color he'll be??
This boy has that golden/orangey tint that one of Promise's previous colts had that looked sorrel at birth but ultimately became a palomino. Time will tell, and we won't mind watching and waiting to see!
This colt will be for sale.
NOTE:
After receiving several inquiries, YES, we are willing to take deposits on upcoming foals, even before they are born. We will require a signed agreement which details a mutual understanding that Castle Rock has the right of "first refusal" of any foal. The Agreement can be made specific, as to a particular foal sex, color, etc., which would make any deposit "refundable".
