Castle Rocks Whisper of the King
AMHA / AMHR - Foaled: 4/23/09 - 18 1/2" w/ 7" canon
Grey Appaloosa with mottling & striped hooves
Sire: NFC Egyptian Kings Full House - 31.5" Grey
Dam: Sulphuras High Fashion - 31.75" Grey Appaloosa
Sire: NFC Egyptian Kings Full House - SON OF THE IMMORTAL HEMLOCK BROOKS EGYPTIAN KING! This stallion's name says it all! The perfect combination of the Egyptian King/Rowdy cross. Famous in his own right as a NATIONAL CHAMPION and a SIRE OF NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, Full House is one of the King's few sons that produce colors other than gray. He stamps his foals with that incredible Arabian head, big eyes and attitude that wins in the show ring!
Dam: Sulphuras High Fashion - Grey appaloosa mare foaled 4-22-94 "Fashion" is another one of those mares that is a goldmine!!! She was only available due to the Sulphura?s dispersal and was kept until the very end. She stamps her foals with a most beautiful head, and has had 7 foals--all appaloosa! They are most beautiful. (Click her pedigree and offspring button on the mare page, to see some of these beauties.) We are looking for spots this year, too!
This little girl is just a "Whisper" of a foal. She is a beautiful representation of the quality and distinction of the Egyptian King line. We think her grandfather would be pleased. She is so delicate, leggy and up-headed, and just a perfect little model of a filly. She has that gorgeous Arabian-type flea-bitten grey that turns white, like her parents, and is a delightful, friendly baby who is like a "China-doll". She's so refined, it looks like she might break!
Castle Rocks Amber Night Sky
AMHA / AMHR / FBR - Foaled 05/13/09 - 21" w/ 8" canon
Sorrel Few Spot / Snowcap / Fewcap / Blanketed ????
Sire: Wellspring Red Sky At Night - 33" Sorrel Leopard
Dam: Star Lakes Summertime Belle - 34" Silver Bay AppaloosaThis is a triple-registered falabella blend filly
Sire: Wellspring Red Sky At Night - "Red" brings the same FIRE and SPIRIT with that same tail-waving movement, and arched neck prancing of his ½ brother "Drum". On the top side, Red's sire, Mountain High White Cloud, is a producer of Grand and National Grand Champions, and this boy also carries some wonderful Falabella lines. Then on the bottom, there is almost completely leopard appaloosa breeding. Red's dam, Piney's Tar Baby, a black roan appaloosa with lacing, has produced all appaloosa foals. Piney's Tar Baby comes out of such foundation stallions as Davis Commanche (chestnut leopard), out of Dell Teras Jim Dandy (black/blue roan Leopard) out of Dandy Jim, from her dam, Piney's Tootsie Roll, a black leopard mare.
Dam: Star Lakes Summertime Belle - "Belle" outdid herself in with her 1st foal in 2007, giving us a beautiful sorrel blanketed appaloosa filly "to die for!" She is a beautiful silver bay REVERSE appaloosa mare, having white spots but mostly dark chocolate spots on her blanket. Belle has a great stride, as her sire is a versatile and great driving horse, and her dam has produced two Reserve National Champion futurity driving horses, and a National Top Ten Halter filly.
This girl is just awesome! Belle and Red have produced a most beautiful sorrel filly, who is straight up and leggy, up-headed, has a trim barrel, and more, but who has us confused as to her appaloosa patterning. We're leaning towards her being a fewspot or snowcap, but won't really know until she's clipped. She has small sorrel spots on her legs like her sire, but again, until we clip her, the rest is a mystery!
