Thank you to all who made this costume a huge success! There is nothing like having this much fun with a four year old green driving stallion...an exceptional horse. Thank you to Renee Reiten of Lucky Hart for sending us "Puck" and inviting us to be a big part of the "Private Collection!"

Claybury Training Center is proud to represent the "Private" collection for 2008. See Buck Private next year in Roadster, Park, Jumping, Liberty and more PLUS several of his Get with Claybury in 2008! Train photo by JFrench Photography.

"Doc" (aka "Painted Medicine Man")

Doc and Tim won the Amateur Roadster class
at the 1999 AMHR Nationals.

Located in Minnesota, one hour north of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Claybury Miniatures is in the heart of the miniature horse community, owned by Tim and Renee Bush.

Die hard "big" horse people for most of our lives; Renee showed in the WSCA in English and Western Pleasure while Tim rode in precision drill teams and participated in cavalry re-enacting. Almost by accident we had the good fortune to obtain an AMHR stallion named "Doc". Deciding that Doc needed a job, we started to drive him and took him to a few shows. Soon we were meeting some wonderful people and making good friendships. We were having more fun than what is commonly thought possible. Doc did his share of winning and soon made the AMHR Hall of Fame in halter and pleasure driving. To top it off Doc and Tim went on to win the 1999 AMHR Nationals Amateur Roadster Class.

Like potato chips, you can not have just one Miniature. Other horses joined our herd, most notably a blue eyed pinto mare called "Mirage". Mirage has made the Hall Of Fame in both halter and pleasure driving. She has four National Futurity wins (in halter and driving), Reserve National Champion in her class and numerous AMHR Nationals Top Ten awards. Mirage is the premier broodmare of our breeding program. However, she may just happen to head back to the show ring someday!

With the exception of one retired Quarter Horse, we raise, train & show AMHR/AMHA & PtHA Miniature Horses and just started our ASPC Shetland program. Our goal is to breed a limited number of mares each year and to produce superior foals, while having fun along the way.

We show extensively in the North Central U.S.A. and and sometimes venture all over the country. If you happen to see us at a show please stop by and say hello!
