Shetland/Miniature Stallion

Claybury accepts Miniatures and Shetlands for training both in halter and performance. Our emphasis is on personal attention to each horse with a training program that brings out their very best!

A full time trainer, Renee holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in Equine Science and is a graduate of the former Vocational Technical Program "Horse Care & Stable Management." Starting out with the larger equine, she has been showing horses of all kinds and disciplines for 20+ years, but now specializes in the Miniature Horse. She has trained and conditioned driving and halter champions. Claybury Miniatures has had eight AMHR National Championships and numerous National Top Ten wins.

We provide a modern facility with a 10 stall barn (additions to come later!) and a 66x166' indoor arena, safe turn out paddocks, exercize track and round pen. Personal attention is given to each horse, feeding programs designed to keep your horse fit, excersize programs to condition the horse and a trainer that can bring your horse to it's fullest potential.

Renee is a carded AMHR, ASPC Classic and ASPC Modern judge.
