ALL MINIATURES AND SHETLANDS HAVE BEEN SOLD! Dakota Miniatures would like to thank all of the people who helped to make our dispersal sale a success. All of our horses have found new homes, and we are very thankful for that. It certainly was difficult for us to see them leave our farm, but we could celebrate the fact that the horses have good homes and wonderful new owners. We wish all of the new owners much success with their Dakota horses and can only hope that the new owners receive as much joy as we did from owning them. Joyce and Dennis Scott began raising miniature horses in 1988. After buying "just one" mare and foal, the herd continues to grow. Dakota Miniatures is breeding horses with outstanding bloodlines, that will win in the show ring, that can complement your breeding program, and have quiet, friendly dispositions. Some time ago we bought a Shetland mare "just for fun." This side of our business has grown, and we are now showing Shetlands as well as the miniatures. We are very proud of the small herd we have put together. We have introduced Establo Arenosa bloodlines into our herd. As a result, we are very pleased with the caliber of horse we are producing. The horses are being shown, and they are winning locally, regionally, and nationally. We wouldn't have it any other way.
