Minutes of the February meeting were read by Brenda. Jen made motion to approve, seconded by Jim.

Treasurers report was given and circulated by Kathy Flach. Jean made motion to accept, seconded by Krystle. We welcome new members Lauren Meland and Travis Wiersch. Memberships were collected before election.

Election: Nomination for president by the directors was Jess Magilke. Nominee from the floor was Julie Weisser. Jim made motion nominations cease, seconded by Brenda. Ballots were cast and counted. New president is Jess Magilke.

Bob Flach indicated willingness to take the Vice Presidency. Lonnie made motion nominations cease, seconded by Krystle. Anonymous ballot was cast for Bob Flach.

Nominations were opened for Treasurer position. Jackie Magilke was nominated by the directors. Julie W made motion nominations cease. Krystle seconded. Anonymous ballot was cast for Jackie Magilke.

Nominations were opened for secretary. Jen Volk and Brenda Eichele were nominated. Ballots were cast and counted. New secretary is Jen Volk.

Dale Opdahl's position as director was up for re-election. Shirley reported that Dale is not a candidate. Nominations for director were Jeff, Dean and Rick. Votes were cast and counted. New director is Dean Morley.

Old Business: Howling Horse Productions is not available for our Ranch Rodeo Party in the Dirt June 2. Kent offered extra speakers we could use. Kathy suggested we work with the Chamber on this. Dean Morley is chairman. Schwan's Truckload Sale is June 1.

Bob reported that Harvey is not on the NCHSA schedule for the second weekend of June. He will visit with them about dates. Jean will be in charge of the swap meet. Jeff is chairman of concessions. No date has been set.

Jen Volk reports Youth Activities night will be Wednesdays beginning early June. There is a fee of $5/child for non members. All participants must be accompanied by responsible adult who must sign liability waiver. Each will provide his own horse. Jen needs help with food and if you are available please come help work with the kids and their horses. Kathy will check with Warehouse Grocery for donation of hot dogs. Jim will check with Pepsi about providing the pop. Jen will make and begin to circulate posters.

Jess Magilke is chairing the Cancer Ride August 4, 5. Faul Campground has been reserved. There will be a Saturday night campfire and it's an overnighter for anyone who wants to stay.

Kathy brought Mid Dakota Lumber cook shack kitchen makeover proposal. Materials only are estimated at $2900 for cupboards and countertops etc. Estimate does not include labor, lighting or plumbing. We will do as much of our own work as possible. Marquetta offered that Bernie would check on availability of ballasts for existing fluorescent lights. Julie W made motion we accept the cost estimate and go forward with the kitchen project. Krystle seconded. Motion carried.

No estimate was available for gravel or crushed rock. Dave Lautt offered to do the hauling and we discussed using a land roller to pack it down.

Concrete for a 10 x 30 area south of the clubhouse door is about $500. A 17 x 35 area would be about $1000. Lonnie made motion we table the concrete decision until we have the numbers on the crushed rock. Marquetta seconded. Motion carried.

Electronic timer will be ordered by Kathy. We will be applying for the general liability and building insurances when measurements have been taken and applications completed.

New Business: Renting out our grounds for weekend activities was discussed. Kathy and Jean were designated to draw up a contract for a $100 user fee plus $25/day electricity fee. A deposit of $200 would be collected and refunded if the grounds and facilities are left clean. Porta-potties would be their responsibility. Arena will be locked and off limits. No glass bottles. Jim made motion we make this offer. Rick seconded.

SRSC is responsible to work the movie theatre March 30 at 7:00 pm. Jen volunteered. Thank you very much.

By the process of elimination and discussion our regular meeting night has formally been changed to the FIRST MONDAY of EVERY MONTH.

Next meeting will be Monday, April 2 AT THE ARTOS at 7:30pm. (Location changed)
