Sheyenne River Saddle Club
Harvey, North Dakota
| Purpose statement: | Our goal is simply to promote the joy of riding and showing horses. We encourage youth by teaching them how to groom, halter, tie, saddle, bridle, ride and show their horses in 4-H and at fairs, and promote safety throughout the course of the sessions. We hold events to develop and encourage interest in saddle horses at all levels and to compete in showmanship and gaming events. We hold an NCQHA show, Horse Swap, Youth Rodeo, Ranch Rodeo and Fall Play Day as well as trail rides and campouts. We enjoy comraderie, healthy competition and exhibition events, such as Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Check us out on the web or give us a call. |
