Yes! When we first got into Miniature Horses, we had a bad experience of bad dogs entering our property and killing 4 of our horses. The local paper wrote an article about the occurrence. We received a call from a horse breeder and was told that donkeys are great guard animals. I looked into it and read articles that stated donkeys guard the perimeters of the property stomping any preying animals.

I purchased two standards and found that what I was told and read was true. As I increased my herd of horses, so did I increase my heard of donkeys with a promise to send out the message and provide guard donkeys for sale.
