Rhapsody's Arctic Fox

"Fox" has now returned home to Hilo Farm and will be bred to several mares in 2007. Watch for his first foals in 2008 - they should be FANTASTIC!

Le Petit Susie's Mischief 2000 sorrel and white overo pinto Sire - K's Cameo Blaze Dam - Brushy Creeks Norma Sue "Mr. Lucky" is a bright red sorrel overo. He has a bald face, blue eyes and white on both of his sides. His background includes Lou-Ed and the Chile Lee line of shetlands. These pictures were done on a cold, windy day in November and he already has his winter coat. We feel that with his color and correct conformation, he should sire some nice foals, hopefully overos! Watch for new pictures of "Mr. Lucky" in the spring.

Dam - Kid's Dainty Miss

"Easy" is a solid white colt with blue eyes. He had a faint sorrel medicine hat and line of color down his back which have faded away. This colt is a great combination of bloodlines, Van-Lo on the topside, and Kid Lee on his dam's side. "Easy" is ultra-refined, correct and has a dishy head with a tiny muzzle. To top this off, he has a friendly disposition and spunky attitude. Watch for new pictures of him as he matures.

Rhapsody's Desert Fox 2006 Palomino - AMHR/ASPC Sire: Rudolph's Golden Comanche Dam: Rhapsodys Impressive Miss Mindy "Dandy" is a solid palomino colt with a blaze and socks. This is one sharp looking colt with excellent conformation and one of the typiest heads I have seen on a Shetland. "Dandy" is going to spend the next year here at Hilo Farm just growing up and then you just might see him in the show ring!

Tom Cats Tulip Of Goose Landing Farm 1997 Black Pinto Mare - ASPC Sire: Georgetowns Tom Cat Dam: JJs Painted Sweet Lee's Cottontail "Lee" is a minimal pinto with exceptional breeding. Her sire, Tom Cat, holds many National titles. She is a quiet mare with a sweet disposition. She will be bred to Fox in 2007.

Cheg-Kim's I.C. Color 2003 Classic Mare Sire - B & L's Rock "E" Painted Logo Dam - More I.C. Rose "Cheyenne" is a colorful sorrel pinto and has one solid red ear. She is a correct young filly with a fiesty attitude.

Hilo Dream Weaver 2001 Chestnut Overo Pinto - ASPC Classic Mare Sire - CJ Painted Apache Dam - Doves Sweet Dreams "Shasta" is a very correct dark chestnut mare. She has even markings and blue eyes. This mare definitely stands out in a crowd. Her background consists of horses who have consistently produced overos. If you are looking for a mare that stands a good chance of giving you colorful, correct foals, consider her. Shasta measures in at 37", will be hardshipped AMHR & will be bred to Fox in 2007.
