We are Kakos Happy Horses, LLC. We purchased our first minis as pets in 2006. Well that didn't last long. Before we knew it we were showing, breeding, buying, selling and just plain having a blast with all our new friends. Our family consists of four children, Charles 25, Kayla 22, Kameo 18, and Koral Star 15. We have 4 dogs, 5 cats, 2 rabbits, 1 bearded dragon and miniature horses. The number changes quite often so we can't say how many we have. If we could we would have them all. Who can pick a favorite color, a favorite bloodline, a favorite size? Not us. We have discovered minis are just like people, they are all different and special in their own way. I have come to learn that horses are truly mystical creatures. They possess healing powers that only one that shares their life with them can understand. Where once my hair was styled and colored, now it's pony tailed and has hay in it. Where once my nails were filed and polished, now they are short and have dirt under them. Where once my face was made up and lipsticked, now it is sun tanned and smiling. My designer shoes are now muck boots, my designer clothes have a new label, Carhart! My fancy car is a Chevy truck. My days are spent with my trusty muck bucket and manure fork, and I am happy...we are happy. My perfect day is sunny, 75 degrees, the sun is shining, my pasture is clean, my water buckets are full, my beat pulp is soaking, my carrots are cut, my stalls have fresh bedding, my horses are running and playing. My children are safe and my soul is full. God is smiling and so am I!
