AMHR #24631T
Sire: Boones Little Buckeroo Charmer - #210199A Although this gorgeous filly is at present only registered with AMHR, she may be registered with AMHA as well, since her parents are both double registered. This beautiful girl is a great granddaughter of the famous FWF LITTLE BLUE BOY on her dam's side and a great granddaughter of the famous BOONES LITTLE BUCKEROO on her sire's side. She is bred to the hilt & is the first filly from this cross. So, she is definitely a keeper. She very likely will be seen next year in our 4 horse hitch of blue roans.
Born April 10, 2004
Sire: Vermilyea Farms Bentley This beautiful chestnut filly is a granddaughter of SIDS HUSKER. She has a beautiful stride and will be trained to drive. Sadie is not for sale, as she will be kept for our breeding program. Mercedes is only AMHR at this time but is qualified to be registered AMHA as well.
Born June 27, 2004
Sire: Millers Impressive Overo I had admired this gorgeous girl of color many times on the website of her breeder. Imagine my surprise when John took me for a drive one Saturday to purchase this lovely filly for my anniversary. Apparently he & Sharon had been talking!! Lacey, as she is known at home, will be kept for our breeding program and may be seen in the show ring from time to time. Lacey is AMHR only as her sire is AMHR only as well.
Born April 28, 2004 Beauty truly lives up to her name. Both of her parents were bought directly from the late Lowell Boone, and she is everything we had hoped for from this cross. Beauty will be kept for our breeding program. She is a beautiful bay roan. Beauty is a pet of all of us at the farm. She likes to untie your shoes and play tricks on all. We can hardly wait until Beauty gives us a foal. At this time Beauty is AMHR only but is eligible to be registered AMHA as well.

Born June 13, 1990 Sugar's grandsire is DELL TERRAS LORD OF THE ISLES. Sugar is the very first miniature mare that we purchased. We have had her for 10 years. She is a really sweet girl. Sugar has has been in foal every year since we have had her. Sugar is a true red roan with the red head & all red points. She is for sale only due to the fact that we have five 2 year old fillies that are of our own breeding that we want to keep for our breeding program. Along with 5 new foals due this year, we need to make some room. We want a very special home for her where she will get lots of loving and attention. Sugar is double registered both AMHA & AMHR.
Born June 14, 1999
Sire: Kochs Foxy Buck Princess is one of three horses that we bought directly from Lowell and Marie Boone. She is beautiful silver buckskin and is only 30.00 inches. Boones Buckskin Princess went National Top Ten in Junior Mares at her very first National Show and the fact that Lowell was there to cheer her on was especially thrilling to me. Princess has been taught to drive. She drives single; team & 4 horse hitch and is grandma's personal favorite to drive. Princess has been shown by all of our "little" show persons as young as age three, and she takes very good care of them. In case you can't tell, Princess is probably my personal favorite. We have had one lovely filly from her and she will be bred again this year. Princess is double registered both AMHA & AMHR.
Born May 9, 1986
Sire: Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King This beautiful mare still shows her refined breeding. She has a gorgeous head, big eye and although somewhat shy has a nice temperament. Crystal is one of those rare finds of the good original blood lines that are still sought after today. Crystal has been ultra sounded in foal to our National Top Ten Stallion BOONES LITTLE BUCKEROO CHARMER. We are looking forward to this very special foal. CRYSTAL will stay in our brood mare band and retire with us. She is double registered in both AMHA & AMHR.
Born March 2, 1997
Sire: Flying W Farms Blue Patent Candy is the second show mare that we bought from Flying W Farms. Rosebud was our first one, and she was to be John's, so Candy was to be my show mare. We showed them first in Michigan and Candy won her very first BLUE ribbon there. (We learned that day that first place is blue in the U.S & red at home). Then we showed at the AMHA Eastern Regional Show in Wilmington, Ohio and we came home with 8 ribbons in the Top Ten, and from then on I was hooked on showing. Candy, however, did not share my love of the show ring. So, we decided to breed her and thus she left the show ring happily behind. She has given us many lovely babies over the years. Canadian Blue is double registered in both AMHA & AMHR. She is DNA'd & microchipped as well.
Born May 14, 2002
Sire: Lucky Four Cloud Nine Lily the Pink, or Pinky as she is known at the farm, is a gorgeous Perlino mare. Pinky and her dam Bom Pinky Bay were purchased at the Little King Heritage Sale when Pinky was 10 days old. John fell in love with this little darling as soon as he saw her. She has lived up to his expectations as last year she was Reserve National Champion in the Chariot Team driving class. Pinky also brought home a National Top Ten in Youth Driving Obstacle, Open driving Obstacle and a National Top Ten in the Open Pleasure driving as well as the Pleasure Driving Stakes. This was her first year to show in driving as a 3 year old. Pinky also placed NATIONAL CHAMPION in the Canadian Top Ten ALL Star Awards in Youth Pleasure Driving. Congratulations to our grandson Joseph Batte, who worked very hard & practiced with her every day. We are very proud of Little Kings Lily The Pink. She is double registered in both AMHA & AMHR. Pinky will be on the show circuit again this summer.
Born – May 26, 1988 Britt’s Morning Glory is a granddaughter of Double-O-Seven And A Half "Moto". She is registered as grey—but looks more of a dun color to me. Glory was purchased at a sale – she had injured a leg. Since she is one of the "old" names in miniature breeding history, we decided she would fit in well with our breeding program. Glory had a beautiful colt off Murray’s Supreme Little Red Baron in 2005. She will likely retire on the farm with us. |
