Olympus was instituted in 2001. The miniatures caught out eye at the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison, WI. There was just something about them that to this day I can't put my finger on that makes me so intrigued by them. I started out with a gelding for a pet and cart horse. The rest happened the way it always does. I found my passion and they are in the pasture!

We offer both solid and paint colored horses, but we are currently beginning a creme dilution program that is coming along slowly but surely, so we do not have a lot of them yet. We want to combine those colors with the utmost pedigrees and conformation to produce sculpted, perfect miniature horse specimens. We raise both AMHA and AMHR registered horses. All are registered AMHR with some being double registered. All of our stallions are double registered for stud service convenience.

A number of bloodlines that our herd currently possesses are: Boones Little Buckeroo, Winks Jangles, Komokos Little King Supreme, Dell Teras Moonman, Boones Little Prince, Martins Buster Bond, Orion Light Vant Huttenest, LTD's Two Tone Trigger, Rowdy, Valley View Jet Stream, FWF Little Blue Boy, Bar Ls Goldmine, and Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King.

Northern Lites has raised Great Danes for 29 years. We breed chiseled and regal examples of the Great Dane breed. Kind temperaments and good behavior is just as important to us as conformation. We breed fawns and brindles that come from extraordinary and noble lines such as:
