R & J’s Miniature Horses
We got our first miniature horse with intentions of finding a companion for a very lonely looking two year old quarter horse named Silky. Of course once someone sees one miniature, you just can't stop there. So of course, we ended up getting a few mares and a sire as well!
Since that time, we have enjoyed every minute of raising these wonderful horses. My quarter horse, Silky, helps with the weaning and training of the foals. We found out that he acts as the perfect (and very protective) surrogate "mother" to all of our weanlings. Come training time, the foals are easy to work with and quite sociable as they take their cues from Silky. All of our horses have excellent bloodlines and great attitudes. They are well behaved around children, are curious, and very sociable.
Due to recent changes, it is with a sad heart that I must let these horses go. They are all a part of our family, and we hope that they'll become a part of yours as well! All of our horses come up-to-date on all shots including rabies, West Nile, tetanus, eastern/western, and flue-rhino. They are also current on hoof trims and dewormings.
