"El Rey" is a true 100% Argentina bred, Falabella stallion, whose name speaks for itself among Falabella breeders. El Rey is 31" and is an AMHA National Top Ten Senior Stallion. Born of imported parents, he has fathered 34 registered AMHA/AMHR foals during his 18 years. His record of foals is very positive with over 60% mares, and 80% pintos, many being show quality. As you can see from the pictures, El Rey has matured from his show days to a stallion of great presence, conformation and personality. El Rey has a sweet disposition, and treats his mares well. We are looking forward to several new Falabella and Falabella Blend tri-registered foals for 2008, from this well known, established Falabella stallion.

Senior Herd Sire:

Sweetwaters Texas Spotty

AMHA A139672 / AMHR 255833A
Buckskin Leopard Appaloosa
Foaled 04/02/2002

Sire: Sweetwaters Gold Buckeroo
Dam: Kegleys Call Girl

Sweetwaters Texas Spotty is a buckskin leopard appaloosa stallion that is AMHA/AMHR registered and has the leggy, horsey look of the modern shetlands. He has a huge eye, balanced trim barrel, an upright neck that he can really hook over and a beautiful head. And not only is he pretty, but he moves like a dream!

Spotty's first foals have arrived in 2007 and they are little carbon copies of Spotty. He stamps his long legged look, clean throat latch and pretty head on all his foals. We are excited to see his foals in the show ring. We are getting closer to meeting our goal of breeding loud appaloosa miniatures that are competitive at the very top levels. Even non appaloosa people look at our appaloosas and can't help but loving them because they are balanced, refined, pretty headed and beautiful!! [Co-owned by Castle Rock Miniature Horse Farm & Critter Creek (CCMF)]

Spotty's pedigree includes Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy and Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King.

Awesome, refined, beautiful, spotted, incredible! We think Spotty has the potential to help take our appaloosa breeding program to the next level! WOW! Only time will tell so stay tuned!

"Zeus" is a 32.50" coming 5 year old, and is taking his place here at Castle Rock to become one of our senior appaloosa herd stallions. He joins Sweetwaters Texas Spotty, and our three junior appaloosa herd stallions, and his first Castle Rock foal will be born this spring to our retired show mare, C Beauty Oil. Currently Zeus (registered both AMHA and AMHR) holds titles as a AMHR Multiple Grand Champion Junior Stallion and Reserve Junior Champion Stallion. A beautiful boy, We may even consider sending him out as a senior stallion.

In looking over the pedigrees for this boy, Castle Rock was again VERY pleased to see that he is a Falabella Blend on the top side of his pedigree, and goes back to (Shadow Oaks) PEPPER, a most famous son of the CHIANTI. Zeus' pedigree includes 2x to CHIANTI, the "grandfather" of miniature appaloosas and Regina, also one of the original imported Falabellas from Argentina. Also on the top side, we found DOUBLE O SEVEN AND A HALF MOTO, National Grand Champion Senior Stallion. On the bottom side, Zeus' pedigree also includes 2x to STOUTS MISTER PRIDE, one of the FOUNDATION STALLIONS, and Little Joe.

Zeus is truly an "Arab" in miniature, with the most beautiful refined head. We can't wait to see what this boy adds to our program.

His sire, Mountain High White Cloud, is a producer of Grand and National Grand Champions, and this boy also carries some wonderful Falabella lines. Then to top it all off, Drum goes back to ORION LIGHT VAN'T HUTTENEST, the leading sire of National and Reserve National Grand Champions.

We can't wait for 2008, when he can begin siring his own group of spotted babies.

With Spotty, Ticket & Drum, the appaloosa foaling season of 2009 should be outstanding!

Sooty Buckskin Appaloosa with Blanket & Snowflakes

Currently registered only AMHR, Wind is leggy and refined, with long front legs, and a nice shoulder which seems to move with him. He is very straight, with a perfect bite, having a spotted blanket, snowflakes and a rich chocolate color. Add to that a tail waving trot, and we can't wait.

In looking over the pedigrees for this boy, Castle Rock was VERY pleased to see that he is a Falabella Blend on both the top and bottom sides. He has an extensive appaloosa pedigree, and goes back to original imported Falabellas from Argentina—including 2x to CHIANTI, the "grandfather" of miniature appaloosas, Sherry, a Champion Falabella Mare, and HNF's Senior, another foundation Falabella and Rancho Casa Bellas Chianti II, a Black Roan Snowflake Appaloosa with black points. COLOR—it is "in his blood!!"

Wind will be used for breeding a few mares in spring of 2008, and we can't wait to see what this boy will throw. We look forward to beautiful appaloosa foals in 2009 from our 3 young boys and our wonderful senior appaloosa stallion: Sweetwaters Texas Spotty!

Concentrating the Gold Melody Boy lines has done it again!!

A 5 ¾ INCH CANON LENGTH!! SMALL, DID I SAY SMALL? MAKE IT TINY AND PERFECT!!

This colt carries the tremendous Arabian type, with the elegance and balance of the Gold Melody bloodline. On the bottom side, “Eclipse” is the daughter of WITTMAACKS ECLIPSE, direct son of JOHNSTONS GOLD BOY, one of 3 remaining sons and the smallest foal ever sired by the Legendary FOUNDATION STALLION: GOLD MELODY BOY. Eclipse, a 30” mare, is lab tested to carry the DILUTE GENE, and has extreme lacing on her back. The Gold Melody Boy lines were concentrated by breeding this mare to her half brother, that magnificent stallion: DAKOTAS LILLE GUTEN, with the same CHOCOLATE color with white mane and tail the Guten is so FAMOUS for. Guten is the holder of many Grand and Reserve Championships in Halter, and has produced multiple National Grand Champions, Top Ten, Futurity and Driving Champions and Hall of Fame offspring.
